ThreeSixFive: Are you Distracted by the Amusement Park?

Tonight I want to bring attention to a dream I had a few weeks ago.

In my dream I was at an amusement park. There were thousands of people at the amusement  park. It seemed so much better than Disney world or six flags. I was driving a little car trying to get people to stop being distracted. I was trying to get them to pay attention to something else, and get them to come with me. In the dream I knew that everything was coming to an end soon, but there were so many people having fun, and extremely distracted by the rides, food, and fun games. At one point I even got distracted for a brief moment. I went on this huge water ride, and when I got down, I saw things begin to tumble and break down. I saw the world crumbling but people were still just walking around laughing, smiling and having fun at this amusement park.

Jesus is coming back. There have been many prophecies that have come true already to signify this. We need to get ready and be prepared and not be so in love with this world and what it offers that we miss out on eternity with God.

I encourage you to read Matthew 25.

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’”

Matthew 25:1-9 NIV

We must ensure that we are amongst the wise that keep our lamps lit, and even keeps extra oil to ensure that we are prepared for when the lord comes.

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.”

Matthew 25:10 NIV

When the brides who were not prepared, tried to get prepared at the last minute, they ended up missing the open door. When they came back and knocked on the door, the groom said he doesn’t know them.

I don’t know about you but I’d rather be prepared and end up being wrong then doubting now and end up missing my chance to be with the lord.

I can’t imagine how it would feel to get an “I don’t know you” from the Lord.

Look at everything that is going on in the world, and don’t end up being distracted by the world and what it has to offer you.

Enjoy life and be grateful for what you have but do not let it take you away from the truth and from God.

Prepare but increasing and/or creating a prayer life. Prepare by spreading the gospel. Prepare by being obedient.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”

Matthew 25:13 NIV

I pray that whoever reads this will get a new fear for the lord that it will set them on fire to prepare, pray and fast for the you Lord. I pray that you are awakening warriors who didn’t know they were warriors. I pray you are beginning a great awakening in the body of Christ .

I pray you will be a part of the kingdom of heaven one day.
